Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com Terms and Conditions
1. The Agreement/Contract
In order to book an event with Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com, you must complete
a Booking Form. By signing the Booking Form you confirm the
accuracy of all the information provided by you on the Booking
Form & accept the following Terms & Conditions on
behalf of yourself & anyone else within your party/group.
The Agreement between you and Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com comes into existence
only when Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com issues written acceptance of your
Booking Form. Unless you contact Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com in writing
within 24 hours of receiving Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com written acceptance,
you will be deemed to have agreed to the contract terms.
Once a booking has been confirmed it is non-transferable.
Alterations to your booking within 6 weeks of the event must
be made in writing & are all subject to availability.
Alterations will be executed for a nominal fee of £10.00
per supplier plus any charges imposed on us by our suppliers
for any reason, at the discretion of Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com. The Booking
Form, Terms and Conditions and the General Information in
the brochure constitute the entire agreement between you and
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com and you must not rely on any other representations
made regarding any aspect of the tour unless confirmed in
writing by Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com.
2. Payment Terms
If you book an event more than 6 weeks before the proposed
date you must pay a deposit per person of 25% or £30
(for all Christmas events). The deposit, which covers administration
and other charges, will not be refundable unless section 6
(below) applies. The final balance must be paid and received
by Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com at least 6 weeks prior to the event taking
place. If payment is not made in full 6 weeks prior to the
event date Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com reserves the right to cancel the
event and to recover from the customer the full cost of the
event as confirmed on the booking form. We do not send reminders.
If you book an event within 6 weeks of the date of the tour,
the full cost of the event is immediately payable, Theatre
tickets, hospitality events and hotel bookings must be paid
for in full at the time of booking. No refunds will be given
by Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com if the numbers of persons attending an event
are less then the numbers booked.
3. Force Majeure
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com shall have no liability for any expenses damages
or losses caused by the delay or default in performance or
any obligation caused directly or indirectly by breakdown
or unavailability of supplies or equipment of particular services
catering supplies or tickets or access to facilities Acts
of God or any other causes beyond reasonable control of Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com.
4.The Price of the Event
The price of the event will be as detailed in the brochure,
which is current at the time that the Agreement between you
and Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com comes into existence. Prior to Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com' written acceptance of your booking Form, the price
that is given in the brochure or on the Booking Form may increase
or decrease. After the booking is complete prices may only
alter due to variations in dues, taxes or exchange rates etc.
5. Brochure Description
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com reserves the right to change any of the services
or facilities or prices described in the brochure before the
Agreement between you and Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com is concluded. Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com reserves the right to alter any of the theming and
images used in this brochure, and may not necessarily reflect
the theming at individual events. *Weekend Break and European
flights Offers not to be used in conjunction with any other
promotional offers and have a redeemable value of 0.01p.
6. Cancelling of Event
If Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com changes or cancels the event your position
will depend on whether the change is a minor one or a significant
alteration. A significant change is a change to the date or
to the travel arrangements by more than 6 hours, or a change
of accommodation to a lower category. Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com has the
right at any time to make minor changes to the event without
the need to compensate you, However, if Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com makes
a significant change to the event details, then you will be
contacted as soon as possible and you can then:
- Accept an alternative event if one is offered.
- Book another event with Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com: If it is more expensive,
you will pay the difference but if it is
- cheaper you will receive a refund.
- Cancel the event and receive a refund of all payments made.
Should an event or service be cancelled or suspended for any
reasons outside the control of Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com
no refund shall be made and Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com
shall not be liable for any loss or expenses arising out of
such cancellation or suspension. Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com
strongly recommends that our clients take event cancellation
insurance. A small outlay relative to the total cost of the
event can buy an insurance policy that would cover losses
for a number of circumstances.
If you cancel from the date your event is confirmed up to
6 weeks before the event is scheduled to take place, a cancellation
charge of 50% of the total event cost will be levied. Less
than 6 weeks, the entire event cost will be charged, unless
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com are able to resell the event, in which case
a discretionary sum of up to 50% of the event cost may be
refunded to the customer
7. Complaints
If you have any complaints regarding any aspect of your event,
you must communicate your complaint to the supplier of the
service concerned at the earliest opportunity and also contact
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com to let us know of your complaint. If you do
not inform the supplier of the service (management) as well
as Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com within 48 hours of the complaint occurring,
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com will not be held responsible for the complaint.
You shall not be entitled to deduct or set-off any sums from
any money that you owe to Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com
8. Your Responsibilities
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com will not be held liable for any aspect of the
event arrangements failing, if such failure is due to your
acts or omissions or due to the acts or omissions of a third
party not involved in providing any of the services which
constitute the event. Such failures may include your failure
to behave reasonably or appropriately. Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com will
hold every person in the party jointly and severally liable
for any damage to property and for any legal costs incurred
in defending or pursuing such a claim. Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com acts
as agents in supplying equipment used in connection with your
event (for example dance floors and marquees). You must take
steps to insure this equipment against loss or damage for
the whole time that this equipment is on site.
9. Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com Responsibilities
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com is responsible for ensuring that the event
booked is as described in the current brochure and marketing
material is of a reasonable standard. However, should compensation
be due to you, the amount you will receive will be related
to the cost of your event and will not exceed twice the cost
of the event. Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com is responsible for booking the
requested venue; however the management of each venue reserves
the right to admission at its own discretion.
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com is liable for any personal injury or death,
which you sustain on an event because of its negligence. However,
Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com is not liable if the personal injury or death
happened as a result of your own acts or omissions or is due
to the acts or omissions of a third party not involved in
providing services which constitute the event, which acts
or omissions were unforeseeable or unavoidable.
10. Law and Jurisdiction
Your contract with Events Ltd t/a Christmas-Events.com is
governed by English law and is subject to the jurisdiction
of the Courts of England and Wales.
